Amaraa is an Event Decor and Management company based in Hyderabad, India, specialising in weddings and wedding parties, amongst other personal and corporate events. With over 5 years of experience, and over 200 completed events, Amaraa was looking to rebrand.

Tulips are one of the most romantisized flowers, symbolizing love, royalty, life, and warmth. Hence, this minimal Monogram creates a tulip within an arch made with the letters A, M, and R (letters in the word AMARAA) to represent the delicate, detail-oriented and incredibly beautiful events designed by the company. The brand identity has a royal, luxury feel while also remaining flexible enough to be adapted to a diverse range of products and services in the case of future brand expansion.

Amaraa Events decided to re-brand in 2022 as their old branding did not efficiently translate the essence of the brand to its audience.  

Amaraa, previously called Black Owl Events, incorporated an owl in its visual identity, with black as the primary branding colour. Amaraa mainly serviced events in India, where the colour black is often considered inauspicious, unlucky, and inappropriate during festivities. We also realised that using an owl was not helping create a visual that the audience would acossiate with an event company. The imagery and typography were weak and did not help build much personality to the brand, let alone depict the beauty and essence of events and parties.
